Number One, you could become a professional Twitter for a company, there's a lot of companies out there who long to join the social media realm but don't have the expertise to pull it off, so they'll be looking for someone with that knowledge, it won't be long before the job boards are flooded with "Seeking Twitter Pros".
There are always "Special offers for Twitter followers" out there, so why not join in and sell stuff yourself and thirdly you can try combining micro blogging and micro funding to create "Micro fundraising".

Recently more professional applications appear on the web, applications people will pay for, it's not really the done thing, reviewing a product on Twitter certainly not like on a blog, but it doesn't seem fair from the user perspective not to advertise your own content.
Twitter may be simple and limited but it can be used for so many different purposes, there must come a time when companies who require specialists and consultants to teach them how to use Twitter in their particular niche market.
