Blogging provides the online world with information, opinions and views. Many successful bloggers are keen internet marketers. You can however blog for many reasons, each reason will generate a different level of success, but either way you can still find a way of making money from blogging.
How to make money from your blog
Pay per click (ppc) is the most popular way to monetize your blog. The programs you would of heard of are Google Adsense or Bidvertiser. Basically, you put ppc ads on your blog and you get paid when someone clicks on the ads.
Affiliate products is another method. If you join an affiliate program, you will be provided with a unique code that you paste onto your blog. You write posts recommending affiliate products, when someone buys one of these products through your unique code, you get a commission.
Selling Ads space on your blog is something we discussed in the post making money from your website. The same principles apply, however you need to make sure you have alot of traffic for people to be interested in advertising with you.
Can you make lots of money?
This all depends on you and your blog. One thing you need to do for sure, is write a good blog that your readers will enjoy. Don't write about something you don't enjoy yourself, your readers will see through it.
The second thing you need to do is concentrate on your audience. Make sure your traffic is targeted. Attract people that are looking for your information. These visitors are likely to stay on your blog, look at your products or click on your ads. This is where internet marketing comes in.
